Bluman Associates were approached for this car launch to design, manage and oversee the 21 projectors carefully placed around the rig to provide optimal coverage over the three cars, as well as provide content workflow assistance to Inertia Studios.
Bluman Associates prepped the 3D model of the new Taycan by stripping down the factory CAD to the bare essentials that Disguise needs, after UVing and testing the workflow, the assets were then sent over to Inertia Studios to begin content production with Bluman supplying the ability to pre-visualise all of this in Disguise throughout the pre-production process, giving the client confidence in the final result before they were even on-site.
Real-time VX software, Notch, was also used in this show to a minor degree, to give the lighting designer more flexibility, virtual pendulum lights were added and controlled via Artnet.
The show was delivered on four GX2Cs covering the stage and cars with 24,086 pixels collectively.
